BlackStar / (2008) Demo Levels:

-These are shots of demo levels that I have been working on for Spacetime Studios. I was the sole level artist working on these scenes. I layed out, grayworlded, and took all of these scenes to what you see here. The shadows and depth where created with mostly Ambient Occlusion rendered in Max and also some vertex lighting. Scenes were inspired by the concept team of Visual Director, David Levy. Addition help with lighting from Art Director, Jake Rodgers.

-The placeable egg models in the desert scene were created by character artist, Michael Tarwater. 70% of the textures in the desert scene were reused from other Spacetime assetts.

- All Skydomes and Scorn Interior textures/models were newly created by me. The asteroid texture on the bottom row "Titan Gate" was created by me in Zbrush with a detail texture that fades in when you fly closer (*see blackstar videos).
